Having seen the winning entry. Sommat tells me it's going to look completely different on the day! I'm picturing several of those people on bouncing balls. Why, because you need one white person, one black person, one chinese person, one disabled wheel chair bound person to make it PC for Lorraine Heggessey!

Lol... fantastic! I bet Lambie Nairn or whoever will be producing the ident chose this for cost effective reasons!

Well I've always said the 1997 set was the best BBC One has offered!! (Excepting of course the music from 1999!!).

And don't forget, those people's clothes and/or surroundings will have to be red-heavy!

And did anyone notice that the winning drawing from the 11-15 age group was about a magical, Christmassy pop-up book? Isn't that exactly the same as a certain ident theme used for BBC1 in 1990?

I'd hope so too.... can't have Christmas without people dressed in red!
