I was flicking through the Freeview box earlier on and when I got to 'The Hits' on Ch.18, there was the end of a video with a Blue Peter spoof, and a spoof BBC1 1970s globe with the legend 'CBC 1 Colour'. The globe was still. I've no idea what band or song it was, but I think it's currently No.3 in the Hits Chart.

Sure it wasn't the new Will Young vid - that's him as a BP presenter.
The director cocked up slightly thouh, as the video has Will Young digitally inserted into old Blue peter footage. However, the footage fo Will was either shot on film, or filmised, whereas the Blue Peter footage isn't- so it looks very odd.

Yep - though it is easier and cheaper to insert 25p material than 50i stuff - as you only have to do half the amount of frames. (Another reason Dr Who is 25p in the new series...)

(Note to the producers of TOTP, when you do come to play this song on the show, please play the video rather than have Will in the studio, because I haven't got time to watch music channels all day, like some people !)
By the way, why were Tina Heath & Peter Duncan on yesterday's show?
I only caught the last 5 mins by chance, plus I'm never around to see the show anyway, but noticed as I was flicking through!
Tina and Peter were on the show to support Zoe in her training for the London marathon, Tina is also doing the Marathon and Peter has done it twice.
The programme also had a behind the scenes report on the Will Young video which was why i tuned in (I like behind the scenes stuff not Will Young Videos)
