For the first time since Blue Peter moved to Media City the programme was broadcast from a larger studio - HQ4 due to them doing a record breaking attempt.

The show looked so much better with space, but this made parts of the set bought down look tiny.

Good to see they can hire the bigger studio from time to time - in the past they've been out in the entrance/lobby area for things like the carols and big displays.

The new studio set seems almost intentionally quite bare so I don't think it looked that different. It was a problem back in the 2007-11 period too when they moved from TC2 into a larger studio - seem to remember they would use some decorations from the previous studio sets to fill the gaps!
