Mabel came in soon after Katy Hill arrived, so she must be getting on a bit (Mabel that is, not Katy Hill!) Very Happy

I wonder if Kare and Oke are still alive? (they must be around 18 or 19 now if they are - I know some cats can live until their twenties).

I know Kari died about 5 years ago no idea about Oke.

I thought at least one of the old cats must have died as I remember Kare and Oke first came onto Blue Peter in around 1991. For some reason Willow left, I can't remember why but she wasn't ill or anything.

Because she was a horrible cat who hated being on television and scratched everyone who touched her, so she was "retired", although the programme continued to pay for her upkeep. As Richard Marson points out, "as if to spite us" she then lived to a very, very old age.

I wonder if the new regime will continue to inform the views about the death of former pets?

I seem to remember something now about Willow being a horrible cat. I liked the way they euphemistically said she was "retired" - in other words they got rid of her!

Angelica Bell and scott Mills have been mentioned to present. I thought Dick and Dom ruined yesterday's show!
