I like the way they havent let the viewers name the new dog, probably best after the recent controversies surrounding that last naming of a pet.


I would imagine that this dog was not named due to it being nine months old, as was Lucy - not due to all the untrue Blue Peter issues.

Yeah I expect thas the reason. I suppose that for nine months, the dog has had the same name, so would be confusing for Barney to be called something else!

Only one day to go and the wesite is now showing a holding page with the same background used on last years holding page. 'undergoing a transformation' it reads but they only had a new website last year. I expect its just having a few tweaks!

Nobody suggested there would be a new set.

-Changes include:

-New window outlook onto garden
-Prtesneters feature in titles
-New themed/zoned platform on top of kitcupboard/computer area
-New shaped seating area

I thought Blue Peter was great yesterday, hope today is as good. Studio looked great to!
