They're moving the whole lot, ornaments and all, to the roof of Media City in Salford. No idea if they're introducing an online garden in addition to this, but obviously the Blue Peter garden wont exist anymore when TVC gets knocked down!

The central part of TVC has been listed as a Grade II building.

It won't be knocked down.

Give it 10 to 20 years and TVC will just be some sort of television museum I reckon.

A Grade II listed building can still be amended and in some cases knocked down, depending on approval.

The Blue Peter garden, the sheds, studio9 which is next to it and the canteen block are not listed, and could be replaced with something else if somebody buys the land.

Given the reason for listing it was to prevent it being knocked down, someone will have to come up with a pretty persuasive reason, wouldn't you say?

So the cover of the new annual has been revealed (see below) and I really like it!

Any thoughts? I think it looks quite eyecatching, the current annuals from Pedigree are always great now!!

Not sure I like the " celeb " being on the cover. Do they still have " Book " followed by the number on the binding?

Quite surprised annuals are still produced in this day and age.

Why?

Video games, the internet etc I suspect is what Brekkie is referring to. It does seem a very old fashioned thing.
