Next week see's the end of the current series. With some real typical Blue Peter features today (24th) and a great week last week, it seems like the next series is gonna be awesome. I'm trying to be modest here but with a few new set features that I designed and given to the editor the set is going to be great too. it is still going to be the same set in general but lets just say you will be seeing the garden more!!!!!
All that's left now is the revealing of the Summer Expedition (dubbed today as a Summer Adventure!!))

Does that mean there might move to tc9?

No, they are still going to use Studio 2 and 3.
Well...that's it! Another year of Blue Peter over and done with and what a great series it has been. It has become more current, relative to teens, consistent and rectified. The team will be touring Turkey this year on their annual Sumer Expedition.
The end of series show was really good today and a nice touch was when the team thanked viewers for watching the show this year. At least some people are grateful!!!
They didn't mention the planned changes to the studio so we'll have to wait and see what happens in September!
Does anyone know when the show will be back??? Last September (2008) is was the 23rd.
The presenters have also individually thanked viewers you can even see the set being dismantled!!

All that's left now is the 39th Annual :: 2010

It's very true about Blue Peter, and I think the improvement done to this series including graphical appearance of the programme, new theme, slight changes to the set along with the return of old style features, and most importantly Helen & Joel joining Andy have given the show a much needed boost.
I would like to see the BBC give CBBC & Blue Peter back the 5 o'clock slot. It's a shame that they won't try to air doctors at 5.35 giving that a repeat to strengthen their audience, and being able to free up the other 20 minutes that the weakest link stole.

Here here! Or once again I'll appeal to anyone from the BBC who may read these threads to put CBBC back on until 530 / 535pm. I could see the point if anything decent was being shown on either One or Two but the Weakest Link against general daytime tat isn't really a great alternative.
At the very least they could move it to 4.50pm, and put Newsround at 4.40pm.
