I was thinking about that dennis the mennace BP episode whilst reading the new book, didn't see any mention of it

apparently Dianne-Louise Jordan auditioned for Corry at the same time as BP and had a choice bwtween the two

wonder which corry character she was auditioning for (Kelly perhaps?)

Indeed, at least they were in the garden, and made an effort for bonfire night. The garden change may not be that drastic, but at least they've done something with it, and not left it alone to become overgrown. And with the fireworks, they at least did something. I'm still not sure whether I like the programme being on two days together, Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday may be better to spread things out a bit.

no because that's each individual presenters time on the programme, my list is each set of presenters on the programme in chromological order

Sounds right to me, first pairing I remember is:

I'd forgotten they had five presenters at one point, but I seem to recall that Romana was hardly in it by then anyway and Konnie was pretty much an early replacement.

From memory around December Romana took a break from Blue Peter for a number of weeks (panto?) before returning for a relatively short period of time. I'm taking a guess it occured around this time due to the number of presenters

forgot about that bit, at least I remember to put Richard Bacon in.

my first BP presenter line up was John / Peter P / Lesley which is the longest time without a change of presenter, 7 years

the last presenter I remember joining is Janet Fielding by which time I was 19 and proabably a bit old to be watching

Blue Peter used a shorter version of the titles today, I don't like how it just cuts straight into the theme.

Also for Children in Need, Joel will be presenting the weather on the News channel tomorrow.

That's not a great cut. I do like not having the coming up in the titles, but it would be nice to see the presenters added, I'd presume if they did that they'd add them as stickers sticking on and peeling off in the way that the logo forms at the end. Alternatively they could just cut out the middle of the music rather than not having any intro.

Not great at all - and virtually removed all evidence of the revamped theme. Hope it's a one-off and not a regular thing. Out of the less traditional version of the Blue Peter theme I would say the current is one of the best.
