One thing I did like about the Tuesday one was when they showed Simon,Matt and Liz.

Is that number the kids audience or the entire audience (including adults) watching the block?

Even dodgier variation of the titles now without Konnie, and just the two presenters, with Andy and Gethin in the studio, and a VT from Zoe, filmed as part of "the girls" trip to the Caribbean.


Really though only Gethin is hosting - Andy is too busy trampolining on skis, and that ceiling looks dangerously low!

It'll probably collapse on him.

Well just Geth and Zoe today, so looks like they're going for just the two presenters for each show - more cost cutting I suspect.


If that's the case though it'll be the first time since before the John/Peter/Valerie era they've not regularly had the shows hosted by three presenters.

Quite like the new intro bit of a sea view and the lighthouse... is that now a permanent part of the titles? Also like that they have incorporated the preview into the titles. Good to see that the presenters are now back to being displayed in order of join date... Zoe was shown between Gethin and Andy for the last series.

They've just run an item on High School Musical .

So? It's popular with children. Just because you, somebody who's around 10 years over the target age range don't like it, doesn't mean it's unpopular. The only thing I object to is the cost cutting (which can't really be helped), resulting in a smaller studio with a smaller presentation team. To me, who grew up with big sets and larger numbers of presenters, that's sad, but that is all. To some extent, I wish they would look back at their heritage more - the Christmas edition seemed to lack any of it.

But please, stop with the tedious Newsround-'panda' style jokes which you repeat ad nauseam in most threads.

Can't believe how much they promoted the time change at that the end of Blue Peter. ITV would have been very proud! It was mentioned in the end link then a few times in the credits then mentioned immediately after in an a brief out of vision announcement over a caption.
