They've had five episodes a week for eighteen months now, I think they might know what the workload is by now. My guess is either they've found that don't actually need the fifth presenter they brought in so aren't replacing Liz, or maybe it's part of the general cuts across the BBC! Prob the first though.

I'm glad it's a small team though - BP was becoming a bit like XChange when it was first on, where you had a huge team of presenters but only saw a few at a time, rarely the whole team.

Surely it's the fact that Zoe was introduced to fill in for Liz during her maternity leave, though of course they didn't get rid of her, so now that Liz has gone, its just ideal that they stick at 4.

As for CBBC Channel it did show the Monday show, then the Wednesday BBC One show on Tuesday and a special on Wednesday (even though I think it's now changed to a special on Tuesday and the simlecast of BBC One on the channel on Wednesday), a pre record on Thursday, and the same Friday show.

Why they didn't just keep Blue Peter on One, and keep unleashed and blue peter flies the world on the channel (surely they were cheaper, as they were just revoiced/introduced).

And it is about time that Matt should leave. He has been there since 1999, and will Matt moving on to become a chat show host and a household name in the UK?
