When NBC revived Blockbusters in 1987, the solo-vs.-family pair contest was changed to two individual contestants competing. The champion represented white while the challenger represented red. Also, this version used a computer-generated board.

Again, the game was best two-out-of-three, with the advantage alternating between contestants in the first two games. If a tiebreaker game was needed, the board was reduced to a 4×4 field, with neither contestant having an advantage

Now we are in the age of Widescreen, will the game board go to 7X4 ?

Very unfair if you're playing as blue.

It was mainly a joke, but if the Blue team with its two players, got double the amount of chances, it would even it up right?

I note the joke (P please, classic) but it's still more unbalanced whereas the 4x5 grid did at least even it out. Two columns of blue hexagons, one for either side maybe?

This is exactly the kind of thinking we want to avoid in case the Challenge people look at this and take it seriously!! Get a (Super)Grip!!! Smile

Well I would prefer the 5x4, but if the single player has 4 to do, to make it even the 2 players should have double the questions, and 8 across.

Anywho! A Joke that lost its funny, move along now.

The handicap of 1 was sufficient.
