He's crazy. His YouTube account is going to get closed down any time now. I guess the 2 at the end of his current username means that this will be the second time he has lost an account.

Actually it's because his original account had a copyright strike against it so he lost his right to upload videos longer than 15 minutes.

Was the blue set introduced in the later half of 1985?

I don't remember the text being red on the end credits either:

Ratings: 247k + 18k (+1) which is four times the slot average according to Broadcast.

It even HIGHER the ratings that first believed:, Highest rated show on the channel history! beating TNA by 28K as it only got 260k

Even on Thursday it picked up 200K + from both airings. How many people are now watching it at 5pm? or at the weekends?

It was nice to see the Blockbusters credits in full without them being talked over and squeezed into a box tonight...

Start of series 3, ie Aug/Sep 1985, I believe.

When did this get used? was it S4 1986-87? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkKoVZsOag4&feature=relmfu

I take it by S5 87 onwards it went back to Blue?

That clip from 1985, TWS has alot of explaining to do as there only broadcast 50eps out of 120 during the summer holidays, properly believing it was another 50 eps run

I am enjoying the new series of Blockbusters. I am never a fan of padded talking in Game Shows, more understanding of it being in Blockbusters because as has been pointed out it was always there.

I believe they have found a suitable replacement for the late Bob Holness in Simon Mayo.

I agree. I hope this is something they will continue to do but I doubt it.

In the original run of Blockbusters, the 'talking to contestants between games' was something of a necessity as it took the board a short time to change around as the pre-arranged sets of slides for the next game were placed in the slide projectors.
