Well according to Rage Music's Facebook page, it looked like from their post and I quote...'Of course you do! prepare to handjive......'
So here's hoping today will be the day!
So there must be a longer version of the theme then. I just can't see the audience handjiving to a cut down version.
As ive said the credit theme around 30 sec and just loop part of the opening, about the same lenght as 90-93 credits. Why there never made proper credits from old theme.
I'm sure somewhere I've read that there aren't any handjives in this series. Certainly haven't read anything from anyone who went to recordings to say that there is.

That's the impression I've got from reading this thread, although apparently from looking back, they recorded the audience "humming" the tune, but I don't think that'll get in, as the announcer keeps talking over the credits.

I wonder if that was for an early draft of the pre-launch promo where we saw various people humming and whistling the theme tune.
So, that is pretty much the end of the series then. What else have we got to watch for?
I'm sure we were all watching to get answers to these questions...
- What are the opening titles like (alright)
- What is the theme tune like? (alright, bit short)
- How many gold runs can one player/team win? (5)
- What happens when they win 5 gold runs? (massive anti-climax, they just win a holiday)
- Will there be a hand-jive on Fridays? (No)
Now that we know the answers to these, there are only two reasons to watch now (unless someone knows any others) and even one of those has been partially spoilt by this thread anyway.
The only reasons to watch now...
- What will happen at the end of the series? (unknown)
- Who will the celebrities be? (Konnie Huq and friends)

You clearly have no idea how good old classic itv gameshow works. Stirke it lucky onlu took 6mims to play and yet to pulled in millions.
I feel sorry for this lost genarention who never had the delights of a proper gameshow.

Why don't you tell me how old classic ITV game shows worked then? I don't think Strike it Lucky is a great example of an old classic ITV game show. It was a good programme but they could quite easily have dropped the game show element and called it The Michael Barrymore Show without losing anything of importance.
I am very aware of how old classic ITV game shows worked. I enjoy Bullseye, Catchphrase and Family Fortunes to name three.
BTW, I am 32 years of age. I always assume everyone else on TV Forum is also the exact same age as me. How old are you? It is possible that we are actually part of the same generation.
