I was prepared to say the questions weren't necessarily easier than first time around, until they posed the question:

"Which H is the surname of the musicians who won her second Mercury Music Prize with her album 'Let England Shake'... and whose initials are PJ "?

I'd personally have omitted the bit in bold.

I tried watching Blockbusters last night but I have to be honest that I was bored within the first 10 minutes. Setting all the nostalgia aside, it boils down to a game with very easy questions and little in the way of pace and energy. I think it serves to illustrate that some things are just better off left in the past. I think if this new series is to be successful they really need to make some of the questions a lot harder, especially considering it's no longer just sixth formers participating. If the questions are straightforward then what reason is there for viewers to watch? The reason I watch the likes of Pointless is because I like hard questions that make you think. I hope the new series gets better and remains popular, but speaking personally, I think I'd rather Challenge used the money to just buy the rights to more series of vintage Blockbusters with Bob.

The problem with Pointless is if you don't know any answers to one of the questions, you have to wait more than ten minutes for a new one to come around.

Surely there has to be a longer opening version than just 20 seconds, I'm would be amazed and shocked if Ed Welch and Rage Music hasn't done an 'extended' version.

Can you found the post etc as to where challenge claimed there was a longer version?

That means looking back a good wee while on Facebook when I spoke to them regarding the music...

I get the feeling Challenge has made a mistake.

So looks like there will be a teatime repeat of the previous night's episode at 5pm. Then there is a omnibus of the first three episodes of the week on Saturday mornings, with the remaining two on Sundays. Plenty of time to catch up Smile

Strange how they have split the omnibus over two days - they're not exactly full to the brim with content!

Five episode in one go is a bit much to watch though! (and yes I know they've shown about 8 hours of Family Fortunes consecutively in the past...)

Well the EastEnders and Coronation Street viewers have enjoyed it for many years, but this is a gameshow of course Razz

ISSUES: there don't need to play the muisc going into the second round. and I want some tricky questions to outsmart the fast button players. Wink

I don't think you can complain over the difficulty of the questions. As the saying goes, it's only easy when you know the answer.
