It's a shame if it is going to be on Challenge as you know it will be really cheaply done and will probably not appear on anybody's radar. Years from now there will be disappointment when Blockbusters is listed in the EPG and it's actually the Challenge remake (just like when Joe Pasquale appears instead of Brucie or Dave Spikey instead of Jim Bowen)
I was hoping it was going to be on ITV so it becomes a major thing. An older slightly serious person who would become a student 'legend' would be good as a host, possibly a newsreader, Nicholas Owen would be a good idea?!

Yes, he would. He most certainly would.

Please add Winner Takes All to your list. Challenge also commissioned the UK versions of several overseas formats too.
Thing is, whenever classic gameshows have been revived for Challenge TV in the past, they only get perhaps one or two new series before production is ceased. A couple of previously revived (then axed again) classic gameshows that I recall
here are Sale of The Century and Bullseye. Both came back on Challenge, but were ultimately short lived revivals
IIRC ... Fort Boyard had a short lived revival on Challenge too, although I wouldn't refer to that as a "classic" gameshow.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that one. From around the same time as when Cheggers hosted SoTC ... I think!
What other classic gameshows where rebooted by Challenge, and eventually booted back out of production?

I was hoping it was going to be on ITV so it becomes a major thing.
Was never going to happen and I don't think it would work in this day and age.
I really don't see how the production values and feel of the show will look any cheaper than the original. All it is a couple of desks and some buzzers and some easy to produce graphics on a screen.
It might do good business for Challenge, but I doubt it would anywhere else. Will probably only last two runs as I don't think Challenge has commissioned anything for themselves (with the exceptions of perhaps Takshei's Castle (if that counts), Defectors? and TV Scrabble.

Winner Takes All (Davro)
Sale of the Century (Chegwin)
Fort Boyard (Grantham)
Bullseye (Spikey)
[Family] Catchphrase (O'Corner)
The Pyramid Game (Osmond)
Endurance (Ross)
I think that is all of them unless you anyone knows otherwise. I'd rather see Challenge spending the money on buying old episodes of programmes rather than making their own cheap versions.

Their Fort Boyard didn't feature Leslie Grantham it was Chris Ellison or Burnside from the Bill.

I know its tenuous but Family Catchphrase was on ITV first (one episode) it ended and it was then remade with a new presenter for The Family Channel which can be linked via various changes of ownership to the Challenge we all know and love today.
Family Catchphrase wasn't a come-back or a reboot either, nor was it made for Challenge.
