Why is it everyone who quits uses that line. It's become so obvious it just means 'My programmes getting worse'.
It's the same with some of the more recent "Pop" groups. As soon as no-one likes them anymore, they split-up with the excuse 'oh, we wanted to quit whilst we were still on a high, and we're all still friends'.
ITV's definition of 'New Entertainment' would be to give us something along the lines of 'Blind Date 2003' - ooh, everyone come and watch! It has 2003 stuck on the end, so it must be good!
I wonder if the Cilla Black ITV1 idents are going to be very quickly phased out now.
