Nope, believe it or not, in the September 2006 issue of a gay magazine called 3sixty magazine.

Who knows, and to be honest who cares just as long as a decent "family" light entertainment gameshows makes it return with a real decent host!

Sorry for previous text - shouldn't take out my oppression on here - it was a bit harsh!!

But hey, I'd love to appear on that show as well. Or if anyone ever remade Full House/Lucky Numbers I'd appear on that as well!!!

The advert says "Lilly Savage's Blankety Blank"—was the previous series just called 'Blankety Blank'?

If so, could be a case of like when the 'Paul o'Grady Show' was relaunched as 'The New Paul o'Grady Show'—technically a different programme (I think :-s!), with a different producer. Funny because ITV played old episodes along side the new editions—I wonder which one (and indeed channel!) I'm going to watch‽

When POG moved over to ITV from BBC, ITV bought the rights to BB. When it relaunched, Paul O'Grady asked it to be called Lily Savage's Blankety Blank . I don't it was called that on BBC anyway Confused

Blankety Blank certainly is NOT currently in production in the Entertainment department of Talkback Thames.

And no, that doesn't mean it is in production in another department!

With the BBC, Paul/Lily initially did a one-off Christmas special BB, which was definately called just "Blankety Blank", but the subsequent BBC season(s) (there was no more than two, I'm sure) was/were called "Lily Savage's Blankety Blank".

Lily specifically referred to the addition of her name to the title, during her opening remarks on the first full season's first episode. She insisted that it wasn't because she's a meglomaniac, but because "everybody's doing it nowadays" (i.e. adding the host's name to a gameshow title).

She continued by citing some (deliberately paraphrased) examples:

" Dale's Supermarket Trolleydash ; Bruce's Big Hand ; Carol Vorderman's ... well... everything, really!"

Lily then looks over to where Blankety Blank celebs are sitting, whilst musing to herself "Is Carol on this tonight?" [Carol isn't], and upon seeing no Miss Vorderman, informs viewers at home:

"Oh, well, if you switch over, she'll be on something on the other side!"
