BK withdraw themself of KIDS TV

is this the first of a line of companies? (November 2006)

Burger king has withdraw it ads, During Kids programmes and any ads towards kids

I for one, congrats to BK for doing that!

Well they've obviously realised they're going to have to do it soon anyway, but figured if they pre-empted the legislation, they'd get a whole load of valuable news coverage out of it, and people might think they're actually in some small way concerned about people's health.

It's nothing but a cynical marketing ploy.

Now that we don't know what Burger King is any more we have turned our (limited) attentions to the good people at McDonalds. Now, if you'll excuse me, we're busy. Another 12 Big Macs please.
