Birthdays celebrated at the wrong times

Does anyone know any birthdays that have been celebrated at the wrong times?I was sure the BBC were wrong in 1997 when i saw the 75 years stuff on TV World then i worked out they meant radio.

MoM said they were celebrating 25 years of saturday mornings on their special.But Tiswas didn't start in 1980!

No, they didn't. It was all part of ITV50. Check your facts.

They celebrated 75 years of themselves. Not of "TV World". I don't think that site was even around in 1997...

No, they didn't. It was all part of ITV50. Check your facts.


They did say (or at least the listings said) they were celebrating 25 years, not sure if they made a point of it being ' over 25 years' though. Obviously there haven't been Saturday Morning programmes for 50 years.

Maybe, 1974 was when it started, but Tiswas wasn't on air nationally until 1980:
