Kind of a sad day to see Westcountry's birthday slot go the same way as all the others (I think it's only Oscar Puffin left now isn't it?), but on the other hand, it was only a matter of time. The programme has been in decline for several years, and since fewer and fewer cards got read out over time, I can only presume that fewer and fewer people sent them in.
Even if ITV hadn't gone the way it has and Westcountry was still in control of it's own schedule, they would in all probability have made the decision themselves to axe it.

At least some people have got Puffin,except there the presenter's the one who's funnier judging by the comments on here!
BTW,good job birthday people has gone actually.It was asking for it with no presenters!
But it could have at least been replaced by something.
