How did the series end in the first place? And surely their husbands would be out of jail by now.

It ended with Tracy giving birth in a stable in Ireland - I'm not sure if Daryl & Chris would be out as they got sent down again soon after their release towards the end of the series

I think the BBC can get away with showing comeback specials, especially at Christmas. There was talk of a Men Behaving Badly one before Caroline Quintin decided to appear on every drama on ITV1.

I do think there is room in the schedule for the likes of a Birds of A Feather as long as it didn't out stay its welcome.

But then they bought back Doctor Who and it's a fantastic success.

OFAH is a different example altogether, as it had a firm finish, there was no way it could of come back without ruining it.

You mean "there was no way it could have come back without ruining it." . . .

Was there really a need to point that out? GET A LIFE.

No......I don't.

Anyways back on topic, as has been said I do think as a series it would not work, but a christmas special why not?

Don't forget after the new Mr Bean movie, there is a new series of Blackadder to look forward to.

I liked the Bean movie, but it was spoilt a little by Beans speech at the end. Bean was good because it was a silent comedy mainly. Having the film with the other actors talking was fine, but Bean himself having a long speech just didn't seem right. Especially not in that "silent comedy" style voice that Rowan Atkinson puts on for him. That sort of style of voice is only good for one word sentences in my opinion.

Anyways shooting off topic a little...

Just caught the end of The Paul O'Grady Show (re-run). Linda Robson guest and said a new series of Birds is 'in the pipeline' and she'd love to do a new series but it is not yet confirmed.

Oh please, no. It was terrible the first time around. 15 years won't have improved it. Rolling Eyes
