EastEnders star to be US Bionic Woman
Ex-EastEnder Michelle Ryan has landed the role of The Bionic Woman in a US remake of the 70s show.

Just recieved this in a Broadcast email. Is it for real ? Michelle Ryan as the Bionic Woman, will they replace silicon chips with wood chips ?

I feel very let down, The Bionic Woman and the Six Million Dollar man are part of my childhood. There must have been a better choice available.

Who would you like to see play these characters ?

My choices:

Jaime Sommers - Cameron Diaz or Anneka Rice
Steve Austin - the guy who plays the lead doctors role in Grey's Anatomy.

What Bionic powers will she have? The ability to shout very loudly?
To throw a person clean across the Queen Vic? Run round Albert Square in "slow motion" (Though why running slowly should be used to indicate someone running very fast beats me)
