Binge Drinking

Today ITV News launches this weeks 'Public Campaign' for Binge Drinking.

ITV News Channel, ITV News and regional ITV Newsrooms will feature reports on binge drinking from the last weekend.

According to the ITV News Channel there will be ONE HOUR special on ITV 1 at 18:00 tonight followed by another one hour special at 21:30 on the ITV News Channel.
I wonder if Channel, Ulster and Scottish are joining in the proceedings?

Lets hope ITV News keep up this type of reporting in the future following on from their Health Campaign the other week (heavily featuring Britain on the Move items) and also last week's MRSA Campaign.

Notice how the Binge Drinking slug is partially transparent! Im sure that will change later! Also how tacky is the bottle in the 'I' of binge?!?!

How are these one hour specials going to work? Happy hours? Is there a list of participating pubs?

The pubs will need to take on additional staff to get queues short enough to qualify as binge drinking within an hour.

Isn't watching ITV News enough to make you want to start Binge Drinking?

On a serious point, how have they defined 'binge drinking' (or have they not bothered)?

It's another of those terms which gets bandied around without people really being able to say what they mean by it. I'm fairly sure that government guidelines call anything over about 3 or 4 drinks 'binge drinking', which would then probably include the majority of people who go out drinking on a Fri/Sat night.

LOL, I saw that as well, i was gonna post that but ,i thought they blanked it out. I can not believe ITV News showed that before the watershed! ,But i enjoyed the pleasure (and busty too.
