That's probably one of the better EastEnders sketches of recent years.

You know things are weird when Eastenders is genuinely one of the highlights of a telethon.

This has all been pretty good so far in the circumstances. Better than a lot of telethons over the last few years.

The first hour was very flat, almost as if they thought they were up against Emmerdale and Corrie, we basically had people cutting hair and a fairly weak Dibley sketch, but since 8pm it’s picked up.

How much do I have to donate to never hear that sodding baked potato song ever again?

I think you’d see less adverts if you were watching ITV tonight

It’s prime time exposure money can’t buy!

Always nice to see an Eastenders/Corrie crossover, even if it's just a little one.

Blimey, Peter Kay did not look well there at all. He wasn’t his usual self larking about.

Surprised they haven't mentioned how much has been raised so far. I thought that was traditional for this kind of thing.

The message is very much to donate if you can. It’s not a normal appeal, lots are on reduced or no wages. Don’t think totals would feel right.

Would hope they at least do one at the end.

Fair to say Little Britain hasn't aged well but thankfully Matt and David seem to know that.
