Well on many sites including Wikipedia is the new logo. Wikipedia says the logo was revealed April 6th and that the first snippit of it on screen will be May 2nd during Lost. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Br...UK_TV_series%29 Take a look for yourself what do you all think ?
My Comments on the logo is that its VERY bb4 (colourful).
Theres also been more news saying the House is five times bigger than last years! The eye is called "Cutting"
Over in Australia its been revealed that the launch date is April 23rd with housemates entering April 22nd and the launch night actually pre-recorded on that date.
Still convinced she's prime-time BBC1 material - they've offered her the 'Sport Relief' gig. She'll be co-hosting with Chris Evans (because they've still convinced
he's
got it as well). Can it get any worse? Chris Evans & Davina McCall
together
on BBC1 for 6 hours!
I wouldn't take any notice of the logo - Wikipedia did the same last year and posted a pink logo made of spheres which obviously wasn't the actual logo!
I'm excited about this year's Big Brother, not sure why though...maybe because last year's was so good. I wonder what kind of freakshow we'll have this year, hopefully not anything as terrifying as Kinga the Minga.
My God, not Vanessa Feltz. I doubt they'd do that, many people would turn off, I know I would. I think Russel would be good as main presenter, but Dermot's good no matter what.
Russell would be wasted on the main show - he's far too talented for it and is more suited to the freedom Big Mouth allows him.
Current scheduling almost guarantees the show begins on Friday 26th May - with Green Wing running until 19th May, and Grand Designs on Wednesdays runs till the 24th May.
It's been announced today that Hollyoaks: In the City will begin on E4 on Monday 14th August - a very strong hint that Big Brother will end on Friday 11th August, meaning as last year it will run for 11 weeks.
The only thing unconfirmed is the timeslot. There have been reports it will move from 10pm - but this has also been reported in the past.
What we do know is that Lost will take the 10pm timeslot on Tuesdays, probably pushing the nominations show to 9pm.
We also know Desperate Housewives will overlap with Big Brother for a few weeks - so on Wednesdays either Big Brother or Desperate Housewives will move to 9pm for that period.
It's unlikely the Friday schedule will change - and my gut feeling is that C4 would rather keep the 9pm than the 10pm slot free so Big Brother will continue at 10pm for the rest of the week, and 9pm as usual at the weekends.
So, in conclusion with 90% confidence I think we can say:
Friday 26th May: Big Brother 7 Live Launch Show
Friday 11th August: Big Brother 7 Final
Schedule:
Sat/Sun: 9pm
Mon/Wed*/Thu: 10pm (* possibly 9pm on Wed till DH ends - though I think they'll move DH instead!)
Tue: 9pm Nominations show (Lost at 10pm)
Fri: 9pm/10pm Evictions
