To early you may say but what the heck.
Big Brother UK
Launchs in May, rumours saying May 26th for a start date.
The house will have a complete re-design with a bigger garden and bigger inside to fit more people in.

Big Brother Australia
Adverts are already airing on "Ten" with blue skys,white clouds and little birdies and bees. The BB06 tagline finishes with a rainbow falling over the top. A new advert is preety much the same but this time has a narrator who says the Big Brother house will be calm,and kind with it finishing saying "Would we lie to you?"

Davina apparently pretty much confirmed she was preggers on her show tonight - asking Will Young whether he thought she will be having a girl or a boy.

How many kids does that woman need?

problem is she is so hot, I'd keep on f*cking her too!

Probably Dermot will host, and BBLB might go to Russel Brand(Alex Zane is my rec)

If her pregnancy does affect her hosting the series I hope she takes the whole series off, rather than just suddenly disappearing to have a baby!


Dermot seems the natural choice - but not the best choice IMO of maternity cover. I'd give the job to Liza Tarbuck - she's got the warmth and wit needed for the show, but is quite different to Davina.

Most other commonly suggested replacements (like Cat Deeley, Kate Thornton, Claudia Winklemen) are nothing but inferior Davina clones IMO.


As for BBLB - Dermot really has gone as far as he can with the show now and it's time he was replaced. T4's Steve Jones would be the most likely candidate.


And Big Mouth - well, Russell is irreplaceable. I don't think he'd be appropriate for BBLB though - on his own anyway. Him co-hosting it with Liza Tarbuck though might work!

Dont know if this is true but i heard Vanessa Feltz might be the cover for Davina

Don't worry - I'm sure it isn't, just as it wasn't true BB3 winner Kate would cover during BB4 if Davina had to depart.

It was true though that Zoe Ball was on standby during BB2.

So long as I hear nothing more from the woman known as Jade Goody I'll be happy!

I agree that Liza Tarbuck would be a good possibility as temporary host. What with her previous connection with channel 4 and the Big Breakfast.

Davina always decides to get pregnant around the Big Brother months.

I suspect "He's Having a Baby" made her rather broody last year. At least this winter she'll be able to take a year out to look after her baby rather than come up with more flop formats until BB returns!
