Does anyone think that along with the new eye each year that they should start to come up with a new take on the theme tune. I'm not saying get rid of the music, just do something with it after 9 series.
The new logo to me would me to either use the logo as shards of glass with all shards flying giving quick glimses of eyes, and the house as they pass flying into a wall and creating the logo, and that led me to thinking about the theme tune, maybe making it a bit darker in style with ITV's Hell's Kitchen theme, or just rocking it up a little.

I used to watch this every year but it's just so stale now - I didn't even bother watching it at all last year.

Definitely agree it's time something was done with the theme tune which is more radical than adding a few extra beats one year and then taking them out a couple of years later.
The rocked up version on BBLB a couple of years was quite good - noticeable Big Brother, but noticeably different.

I was surprised that the Hijack remixes were only ever used on the promos for the show, rather than the actual show music its self. It was a nifty little re mix, maybe something similar could be done for the main series?

Again, another indication of how good the promos air compared to the production content.
BBLB did the recreations every sunday afternoon on the T4/C4 sunday show a couple of years ago where they invited people to play their interpretations. Is this what you're on about brekkie? It just showed what they could do with the theme tune if they wanted to.

I don't think they should ever ditch the electro-club sound of the theme tune but I do agree it could do with a bit of tweaking. They tweaked it ever so slightly between BB4 and BB5 and it sounds a lot better, whilst to someone who doesn't watch Big Brother often it would probably have sounded the same. With BB9 launching in just over 3 weeks, to signify change they could do with just tweaking it a little bit but still remaining largely the same.

Its already been released with a black background 
They release it each year with a black background, a white background and in greyscale
It does look a lot better though, I hope they take the black background approach in the new graphics because we had volumes of white last year and odd seasons tend to have a black background.
