Everyone was there, except Alexandra and Dennis.

Superb series this year! I think Channel 4 can be proud with themselves bringing BB out of the doldrums of last year! Great that Rachel won, shame it wasn't Rex but still a worthy winner. I think the main reason it was so good this year was the varied mix of interesting housemates and great several stage tasks and the divide.

Certainly up there with Big Brothers 3 and 5!!!! Very Happy

Which we're also awful in my opinion.

According to me it's been one of... if not the worst series of Big Bro. I don't think it's the fault of the housemates themselves, more of Endemols and the lack of anything happening week on week.

I don't recall anything special happening apart from the beginning secret task, Heaven and Hell, Nicole entering the house and the Golden Balls Split or Steal thing. Other than the usual new housemates entering and disruptive housemates leaving, that's been about it.

And it's also definately the fault of the public for voting some of the more charismatic housemates out earlier on. Most notable Stephanie, Luke and Bex and Stu and Dale. Which lead for such a boring housemate to win. And unsurprisingly it was very close, because none of the remaining five deserved to win.

I hope next year we can have a BB5 style makeover for it's 10th series and change pace a bit instead of trying to do the same thing over and over again year on year.

And hopefully we can see the return of Celebrity Big Brother in January though how likely that is i'm not sure.

Quick question as I've not been watching fully this evening, are any of the housemates from this series missing from the seated area?

Only Alexandra and Dennis. Maysoon was there apparantly, though I completely missed her on the conveyor belt of housemates.

As for Rachel - only one of the ex-housemates (Kat) was happy with the outcome tonight. That says all you need to know - and certainly if I was casting this show with the benefit of hindsight she'd be the first one who wouldn't be making it into the house.

I lost whatever shred of respect I had remaining for Davina when she asked Rachel in a very confrontational manner (on Big Mouth) if she was going to share her prize money with the other finalists. Davina just wouldn't let it drop and kept pressing the question.

It was a totally ridiculous and unreasonable suggestion; Rachel won fair and square, and what she now chooses to do with her money is her own private business.

Rachel was clearly very uncomfortable and bemused by Davina's suggestion, and in the end the poor girl was under so much pressure that she said she'd give 10 grand to charity. I wonder if Davina would like to match that amount?

Perhaps Davina has lost touch with the real world - someone should tell her that 100 grand isn't actually that much money. It could perhaps buy Rachel a (very) small house somewhere but she's hardly going to be lighting cigars with rolled up £50 notes.

I saw that. Why didn't Rachel just say no? I realise that some people find it embarassing talking about money but this is a woman who has been filmed taking a **** for the past 3 months so she can't be that embarassed.
