Looks like it's all kicking off.

Inside BB reporting a new theme or feature that will make BB9 different to other series.

More info expected Sunday midnight apparently.

Usual rumours although Inside BB are usually quite spot on with detail.

Though they have had some crucial misses too - like Sunday and Thursday evictions for Hijack.

Well that looks pretty nice from the outside, garden looks a lot more spacious.

If anything it looks smaller to me? It appears they've extended the main house, built a raised floor outside and built completely over the top of the area that used to be the poor/HND garden.

This years garden isn't that big but it is massive compared to the garden used in BB8. To put it into perspective and so you can see this rather than it looking smaller to you, here is an aerial shot from BB8

Heatworld have an exclusive coming out midnight Sunday so whether that means in 5 hours time or in 29 hours time is anybodys guess. When they aren't randomly guessing where the house is and whats in the house, Heatworld are usually at least 90% accurate.

Goodness sake. IBB is like the most unreliable Big Brother fansite to date. It just copies its stories from ThisisBigBrother & news papers. I don't know why people always think what they say is like 100% trustworthy.

[/Rant] Sorry about that. Laughing

Sunday midnight means 5 hours. 29 hours will be Monday midnight.

They've said "midnight on Sunday night", so that's tomorrow. Wouldn't surprise me if some things are leaked in the Sunday papers first though - but they'll struggle to top the Daily Star's exclusive from today:

Most ridiculous story ever!

House ‘like a palace’

They will discover the lap of luxury when they enter the house, including: A posh marble floor fit for royalty. Gold taps, shower heads and sinks. Versace-style decor. But as our exclusive pictures show, it is in stark contrast to the pool, which is much smaller than recent years.

...

Big Brother 9 kicks off on Channel 4 on June 5 when host Davina McCall will unveil the biggest-ever line-up of 16.

As much as I used to enjoy Big Brother, a starting line up of 16 is far too much.

The starting 10 of the first few series were not too few, yet not too many, and with a few additions through the series would be ok to keep up with. Now it's just getting stupid to try and learn 16 people all in one go.

I think 13 is the max to start with, and I wouldn't want to see more than 18 (though ideally 16) over the entire series.

The only way IMO 16 or so HMs can work from launch night is if they are split - that way there appears to be fewer housemates, as two teams of eight is easier to keep track of than 16 individuals (if that makes sense).

There is talk of a rich/poor divide and fuel has been added to that fire over the past few days.

I'm glad information is finally coming through. I'm looking forward to this press release tonight. I have a feeling it is going to be the eye but I'll probably be wrong Laughing

For me, 13 housemates is plenty to put in on launch night with 3 throughout the series. BB6 managed to keep the balance right without making the series feel stretched out whilst people were put in towards the end to evict towards the end to save the originals for the final and to add fresh blood. But with a 13 week series, that simply cannot happen without an eviction until about a fortnight or three weeks into the game.

14 housemates at a push would be good, with 3 or 4 entering throughout the series but through no means of a HND variation. I wouldn't like to see them enter all at once either. The first few weeks of BB7 had a good mix of adding housemates (Sam, Aisleyne, Susie) and I wouldn't complain if something similar to that happened again. Just no House Next Door and 'earn your place by moving next door or facing eviction' scenarios.
