Seems very strange the voting situation this week - no reason at all why lines couldn't have opened yesterday (considering they included the nomination announcement at the end of the main show) and remain open till Friday.
The rather odd reason, that there wasn't enough people to man the phone lines was given on the website.

Strange indeed. It was unprecedented to tag that "tomorrow" preview onto Tuesday night's episode and the only logical reason would be as an explanation to viewers of why 9 people were up for eviction, prior to giving out the phone numbers over the credits, as is usual for a Tuesday night.
The fact they didn't then open the lines suggests it was a (very very) last minute decision not to do so, or they would have cut the "tomorrow" preview as it was completely unnecessary and broke with the whole editorial style of BB.
And making last minute decisions not to open the phone lines just comes across as murky.
Unless there's a more innocent explanation, and the teaser of the following day's episode is going to become a regular feature, but I doubt that.
If it's a twist then ''tomorrow'' tags would be used, I honestly thought (through lack of attention on my part) that lines closed at 21.59 on Friday, was all ready to post there would be a 90 minute show, hhmph, now what,
As for Maysoon going - you really would have to be a tight ******* to want a refund for voting to evict someone that has gone on to evict themselves. Surely the only justification for a refund would be if you voted to evict someone who was the evictee, but refused to leave.
Er, no, they are called formalities and legal obligations. Do you
really
think a television channel could get away with effectively stealing viewers' money after the 2006 Nikki Grahaem debarcle.
Although you are legally correct, Jonathan, Brekkie has a point in that those who have voted for Maysoon have got their wish anyway. It's really not worth writing to BB unless you were the type to sit there pressing LNR a few hundred times, thereby making your refund worthwhile. Uncollected refunds go to charity anyway.
I had hoped for a 'double eviction' on Friday, but I suppose we've had something similar in that the total population will have been reduced by 2 by then.
Here's hoping they don't try stuffing another one in at this late stage; it would just be the predictable evictee in 2 weeks and delay our chance of getting rid of one of the others
Another little "glitch" on Wednesday night's show - Marcus had obviously knocked off for the night by the time Maysoon walked, so he couldn't do a "earlier today Maysoon left the house" explanation, and that was left to the C4 announcer after the show (and after the Virgin bumper, by which time most viewers had probably flicked channels).
So they edited out Marcus reading out Maysoon's eviction phone number over the credits, but just a few seconds earlier Marcus included Maysoon's name when he said "this week, X Y and Z face the public vote"... so why didn't they edit that bit out too?

This was partly fixed on this mornings repeat. They removed Marcus Bentley mentioning Maysoon being up for eviction but it was still up to the Channel 4 announcer to mention that she had left the house.
Apparently she left at 9pm last night (same time as the highlights show started) so they didn't do too badly with the edit.
My first thoughts on Big Brother his year. I have to say i've enjoyed it despite how the ratings being down. I would have prefered them to have stayed at 9pm from the beginning, but notheless i am enjoying the show.
Much more game playing, bitching and tactical means going on than i've ever seen. I personally would like to see either Lisa, Mickey or Stuart to win. I do hope that we have a 4 person final instead of 6 this year.
Haha you must be kidding? The guy's a total p**** who just happens to be blind.
There must be something dodgy going on with the producers this week. I mean, if they're having trouble finding extra staff to man the phone lines, they didn't HAVE to put all those housemates up for nomination in the first place, unless they have something special planned. They could have just punished them in different ways. It seems like they've just created extra work for themselves? However, it also seems likely that
