Big Brother UK - Season 9

Whilst I appreciate that the presenters don't just turn up 5 minutes before the programme goes on air and no doubt have a couple of hours of preparation beforehand, it's quite disturbing to think that she needed to set an alarm to be at work for a show that goes out live at 7pm!

It doesn't say much about either her commitment to the job or her professionalism if she was out on a bender the night before and still in bed at 4pm the following afternoon.

She missed the Sunday show which went out at around 13:30, so she has a bit of an excuse!

Someone reported seeing her 'partying like a maniac' at a bar on Saturday night.

She's an idiot, sack her while she's down.

I think, on balance, that she's moderately more entertaining than Mr Lamb. He talks over his guests and at times looks thoroughly bored by the whole thing. He was the better host in the first week, now I think she's got the edge.

She's definately improved - but really she couldn't have got any worse could she. I do think they offset each other quite well anyway.

Zezi has effectively been axed from BBLB, relegated to just appearing on Sundays and in recorded VTs during the week.

Just heard at the end of BB that Maysoon has left...

However, lines close at 23:59 on Thursday this week rather than the usual time of Friday during the 'live' show. I wonder why.

I wonder whether there have been concerns/issues connected to phone votes.

...it involves writing to Big Brother, so I imagine many won't bother.

Seems very strange the voting situation this week - no reason at all why lines couldn't have opened yesterday (considering they included the nomination announcement at the end of the main show) and remain open till Friday.


As for Maysoon going - you really would have to be a tight ******* to want a refund for voting to evict someone that has gone on to evict themselves. Surely the only justification for a refund would be if you voted to evict someone who was the evictee, but refused to leave.

Er, no, they are called formalities and legal obligations. Do you really think a television channel could get away with effectively stealing viewers' money after the 2006 Nikki Grahaem debarcle.
