I heard on the radio this afternoon that C4 are considering pulling the plug early on this series of BB due to the complaints of violence, bullying and racial tension.

And I'm not making that up! Still, it's not as if we haven't heard it all before.

It was reported in the Daily Star today, so the chance of it happening must be very little.

I hope it's not pulled before they put the aliens in! Wink

I doubt they'd pull it early, if they did, it would signal the end of Big Brother for good.

Aside from the fact that they have quite a reserve of HMs to put in if they need to eject any more for rule breaking - I am sure there are contractual obligations with the sponsor which could be very costly if they suddenly shortened the series.

Although the viewing figures are low this year, 3 million is still quite healthy for a C4 programme.

Is it really environmentally sustainable to run a flatscreen 24/7 displaying nothing but the colour of the wall it is fixed to? Razz

Also there has been zero fall out really from the incident - no real stories about thousands complaining to OFCOM or phoning the police.

Apparently there have been more than 1,000 complaints to Ofcom, but usually alot of these are whipped up by the media to provide copy for the following day.

Although "Wuke" has been banned from nominations, it's a shame the other HMs let him out of jail. It unfortunately gave him the opportunity to over-act and camp-it-up, so they should've left him in there for at least 48 hours. He probably would've had a breakdown due to lack of gossip and given all the other HMs a rest. He also needs to get some sunlight on that almost reflectively-white body of his.

I'm surprised Mo-Mo isn't up for the chop this week, I had hoped he would be next out.

EDIT:
I'm confused at to why "Wuke" was allowed to nominate after all, as there should have been 3 up this week, which is far more interesting than just 2.

Bex is irritatingly childish, both by her actions against other people's property and the ridiculous screeching she does when ever she enters the diary room.

Three new girls being added to the house tomorrow, according to BBBM just now.

Too many, too quick really IMO.

The show could survive another week with the fallout from Jen's departure and the new war against Kat and Rachel before lifting it with a couple of additions next Friday.

They should just chuck one new girl in for Stu.

I'm presuming we all want Jen to go on Friday.

Yes, Jen to go please. She's playing Dale like a fiddle and I would happily box her ears for it.

I've really changed my mind about Zezi. Her competency as a presenter is only hindered by her lack of experience, but she doesn't lack either charm or wit. As her experience grows the better she's getting. Clearly a bright girl.

I'm a big enough man to admit I was wrong about her.

I've started to enjoy BBLB for the first time in years. Dermot's schtick just got very, very stale.
