Dermot started out with a female presenter, but she got dropped after 3 weeks I think so there is hope yet!!!!

Really? Who was it?

Natalie Casey (a.k.a Donna from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps)

Here y'go

Interesting to watch, if only to see how much the show has changed. Whilst a bit dull it did provide more 'behind the scenes', whereas the current format does seem to be more a 'daytime Big Mouth'.

Very interesting. I can see why they tinkered with the original idea, though the behind the scenes things will have interested the majority on here.
I did think that they strayed a bit too far away in recent series, but it was a great show that just seems to have gone down the pan.

The difference between Natalie Casey and Zezi (sp?) is that I didn't mind watching that clip with Natalie Casey. I just think that they are trying to much, and going back to being a show that reveals more of the secrets of big brother wouldn't go a miss. I don't think I've seen any packages of behind big brother yet, just the same old gossiping about the housemates, and thats it. I'm not sure that I'm a fan of the audience as I don't feel that there needs to be one, and get rid of the autocue, if Dermot had an autocue (though I thought that he just had his clipboard like the Big Breakfast) you couldn't tell.

I've just read through this and I'm sure that no ones mentioned the graphics for this years show, what do people think?
I very much like what they've done, they've put that eerie ness back into the titles, and also done something different with the end logo, though I'm not too sure on the angled astons and captions.

I quite agree with all that. BBLB used to be much more about the various production aspects of the show itself. But now it's more concentrated on tittle tattle about the housemates, like a TV version of Heat magazine.

I remember a great moment on BB2 in 2001 when Dermot had a go at "being" Big Brother and spoke to Paul in the diary room, live on BBLB. Dermot's genuine nervousness and Paul's intrigue at the new unfamiliar voice made for a brilliant piece of live television.

You'd don't get that kind of thing anymore; BBLB has become too detached from the production of the main show.

That Zezi has seriously got to go. They put her on an O/B on Sunday and she was so slow you could almost cut the atmosphere with a knife.

BBLB is a very fast paced, cram-lots-of-excitement-in show and Dermot had got the timings just right, something these new presenters can't seem to manage - even the small banter to move topics along.. it's just pants.

Back to the main show, I can't believe it's taken so long for Sylvia to finally realise what Alex is doing!

Oh dear, I certainly hope this isn't true. I had foolishly thought that they weren't going to play these pointless "out one minute, back in the next" games this year. It basically sticks two fingers up at those who were daft enough to vote in the first place.

I don't actually know anyone who has voted in BB for the last couple of years. The generally accepted theory among people I know is that over the last couple of years the producers have decided who comes and goes: returning people after eviction or engineering 'immunity' for others. Voting was therefore a pointless waste of money.

Shenanigans such as this (if it's true) make Marcus Bentley's "You decide" mantra sound rather hollow.

That's been flatly denied yesterday by producers and those in the know have said there were no issues with voting on Friday night.

What I don't get is how the Daily Star hasn't long been shut down for the rubbish it prints - the latest is "New BB Race Row" after Alex said something to Mohammed questioning whether his Muslim background meant he thought of women as beneath him.

Hardly a "race row" (Chip gate was a race row too apparently!), especially as Alex is a Muslim woman herself.

What Zezi thinks about forumers critising her presenting skills in today's Metro newspaper:

Good luck to them. I don't have time to post crap on forums at 2am. I've got hundreds of people on MySpace telling me I do a good job ( Laughing ) but, on the flipside, you get people saying the opposite. They're within their rights. there are things I don't like on TV but I'd never dream of posting them on a forum. There are other things to do. Watch something else, talk to your friends, have a beer, buy some shoes. All that spitefulness doesn't affect me. I'm not sitting at home crying into my tea.

Oh per-lease, she really is childish.

Oh, so Zezi realises she is on the TV then. She always gives the impression she is just passing through.

Thankfully they seem to be building up George's role and moving Zezi to the sidelines a bit.

Hopefully they'll quietly drop her in the near future. BBLB worked fine with one presenter for seven years.

Thats just as childish as Zezi's comment. IMO she has a right to say that because some very personal things have been said about her, to quote "she is the ugliest presenter on TV" and "I hope she gets hit by a bus". If forum members can't accept such comments from Zezi basically hinting everyone who has slated her has no life then in fairness the forum members shouldn't be dishing it out in the first place. Mega double standards if people think otherwise.

Zezi is rubbish in the studio but on Friday she was actually half decent when she was presenting outside with the crowd. If Zezi stays from CBB6 onwards, they ought to get Zezi do more out of studio presenting, ie never let her in it and have her getting views of the public on the streets. It would tie in nicely with the new BBBM-esque format.
