The Daily Star leading today with the rumoured ITV takeover of Endemol Shine suggesting that Peaky Blinders, Masterchef & Pointless will switch channels.
Load of uninformed guff as usual.
That would only happen if their current channels cancelled them, you'd think?
Though The Voice did transfer when it's maker was taken over by ITV.

ITV would probably want celebrity Big Brother (January only) but not the civilian series.
Wasn’t the voice change of networks to do with the BBC budget cuts and it not being justified for them to keep it? The article is a load of crap, if it were the case Graham Norton & eggheads would have moved networks too.
I think with the ITV story, journalists and fans are just putting two and two together and coming up with 5. I don't think Endemol as it stands now would just sell Celebrity Big Brother to a broadcaster on its own - which they should look at doing. They would also benefit from teaming up to co-produce with an online service such as YouTube or Amazon who can deal with live streaming of the house and social media videos, postings and leaving the conventional highlights broadcast to the broadcaster.
Interestingly,
Marcus Bentley said on Twitter that it definitely won't be the last time he says "Day One...",
just the last on Channel 5, so he's fairly confident the show will continue, either next year or in a few years time and that he will be involved. Either he knows something and is being coy, or is very confident he'll be kept on if it moves channel and comes back in a few years.
Like he's in any position to say that. He makes executive decisions as well as narrates now does he? Such wishful thinking.
He probably knows more about his own job status than you do. They're not being very subtle about it. There's clearly already a deal with another channel in place.

It should be - he should have been axed with the move to C5 and really must go now. His narration completely ruins the show for me - it's so fake and over exaggerated and not a patch on what he added to the show in its early days. Most other shows have toned down the exaggerated over narration in recent years and BB sticks out like a sore thumb for not doing like wise.

The only reason love island exists is because Big Brother was in contract with Channel 5 so they had to come up with something similar. I can see itv2 picking it up to fill the schedule when love island isn't on. But maybe that ship has sailed.... we'll see. But I think a deal has been done already.

Really? I don't remember ITV being so interested when Channel 4 axed the format? Love Island is relatively fresh compared to the 18 year run of BB which has become more desperate as the format has been stretched to death.
ITV weren't interested at all back in 2010. Seems strange to think they'd have been interested enough a few years later to create a show because they couldn't get the rights when it wasn't any more popular than it was when Channel 4 axed it.
