Endemol seem hopeful...

"Whilst disappointed not to reach an agreement with Channel 5, the decision opens up a new chapter and we are excited about future possibilities for Big Brother in the UK."

Well at least it looks good.

"Game Over" is actually a much better theme than when the series ended first time around.

I hope it goes to SKY becuase it means SKY will know how to use the show unlike channel 5, Sky has a great interactive system which is good for people who wanna see the live feed and it could mean better celebritys for CBB.

Which is strange, because EndemolShine and Elstree Studios have just applied to Hartsmere Council to renew the planning permission licence for the BB House on the lot for another three years..

Planning applications are relatively inexpensive, so they've probably done that in case they're able to find another broadcaster.

Logistically and cost-wise, it probably makes more sense to leave the set standing, than to dismantle it and then reassemble it, and reduces the lead time for getting the programme to air if they do make a deal with another broadcaster.

Weren't Sky interested after Channel 4 let it go? I wonder if they still are? Could be a new show for Sky 1...

And yet the ratings will fall through the floor being behind a paywall.

Channel 4 confirm Big Brother won’t be returning to it’s channel.

I wonder if it'll end up on MTV. Same company as Channel 5 and they currently repeat the previous day's episode.

It'd certainly fit in with their structured reality formats.

There isn't really anywhere else for Big Brother to go after it ends on Channel 5, especially now that CHannel 4 have confirmed they don't want it back. As said by London Lite, it won't get decent enough ratings if it went to Sky or any other paywalled broadcaster, especially with it struggling on "ordinary" telly.

ITV probably won't want it either considering the success of Love Island on ITV2, regardless of how tacky that show is.

If it was on a smaller channel like MTV, I wonder if they'd reduce the live aspect dramatically, perhaps to only a live final. That would be sure to upset current fans though.
