Big Brother : Celebrity Hijack

I think the format of the shows themselves needs to change - there seems to be a lot of repeating of stuff, which makes it very tedious for the viewer. I know there's some money in the breaks, but if they're struggling that much then maybe a shorter show would help?

She is pretty cute isn't she. Glad I'm not alone.

I've just seen the list of housemates for BB:CH. I thought they were supposed to be "talented youngsters"?

What's talented about being a "politician" (the fat ginger bloke) or a "beauty queen" (most struggle to master the ability to walk and talk simultaneously).

I agree that they may not be talents but they certainly are more intelligent than previous housemates in previous years! I think the beauty queen's main quality (beside her looks) is that she was part of Mensa at four years old... something that most people can't say!

At least they can have a proper conversation instead of always SHOUTING ALL THE TIME. This sort of reminds me of BB1/2

I agree. I think the 50 minute show worked best - half an hour was never long enough, but at an hour some shows can drag - yet still manage to miss out bits live stream viewers might consider the highlights.


Most of all though it needs a bit of tweaking in how it's produced - far too often Marcus needlessly reminds us of events from either earlier in the day or previous shows - so at least adding a short "previously" segment at the beginning might solve that problem.


Notice so far too the opening of the show features three or four scenes now, rather than just the one as previously.





I'm not sure it would work for a full series - perhaps if they had one hijacker a week it might, but I'm not sure. Hopefully though it at least opens up the possibility for giving the summer series the massive overhaul it requires and fundamentally changing the format.

Alan Cummings is the current Hijacker, he's setting the Housemates a task to be film characters and act.

Liam's been exposed for Web hosting fraud, I knew something was dodgy about him! I mean did notice how he was talking about having sex with a pillow and orgies.

I notice they've started putting previews for the next day in the highlights shows now. Viewers must be dropping.

They're pretty stable really.


The promos make sense though considering the use of different celebs each day - but as usual Marcus ruins them by seemingly saying 20 words when just two would do!
