Definately think Dermot should be hosting the main show and the launch was pure genius, excellent work BB.

Just get the summer right and i'll marry you, make BB cool again! Im embarassed to talk about it now so just do BB5 again and i'l be a happy man

Indeed, why can't they just show what happened after the launch?! If viewers want to see the launch again there's always 4oD or YouTube.

Because what happened after obviously wouldn't be entertaining enough to fill an hour. Wink I know what you mean though.

Agree. No problems with a round up of the launch/housemates - but should be a five minute VT, not half the show!


Also see tonight they've made the hijacker split screen 4:3 safe, which it wasn't last night - which means the screen is even smaller!

Presumably that's it for him, he's finished? Will there be a different celebrity on every night? I'm not sure the celebrity intrusion will work. Everyone will notice that people are being prompted to say things.

Be relying on the fansites a bit more than usual this time I think - the official site is pretty poor this time around. Most "headlines" don't have stories associated, and the articles there are often just a paragraph or two.

No live stream either!

Well i gave it the benefit of the doubt. After the 6th housemate entering and Mattt Lucas orchestrating Johns debut, i got bored. I'm of the opinion chnl 4 should let it rest for a year or 2. Then resurrect it in 2010ish.

Probably the only year where Big Brother seems to be actually good, and its on E4 Razz I wonder if this hijack thing would have worked for the main Big Brother series in the summer.
