He's just made them up.

You're wrong as usual. Just posting what I found, as with any advance schedules they should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I would say what I really think of you Andrew, but the swear filter will probably star it out and I'll probably get banned.

So, you didn't make them up. But whats worse is somebody on Digital Spy made them up and you replicated them here.

That makes you an even bigger numpty. You give some of the tripe on Digital Spy far too much credence.

Not really, it makes the person who believed it a bigger numpty. Anyone with a shred of sense knows not to take them as gospel.

Andrew didn't beleive it, and look at the mouthful he got from you.

Was CLI really on for FIVE weeks last time? If it was it surely didn't feel that long - I thought it was about 2 or 3 weeks the length of the last series.

The press gave the series a hammering for the first week or so but as BB was not giving the press much to write about the press turned their attentions to CLI and by the end of the series the press had totally changed their view about the series where it was getting twice as much coverage in the papers compared to BB and at the end was deemed a success and did get respectable viewers in the ratings and also a high percentage of the type of viewers ITV wanted to attract to the series.

Personally I don't think ITV should extend it's run beyond whatever it ran for last year as the public and the press will become fatigued by what is a very weak format and will not stay the distance of the whole series.

It will generate press coverage for the programme but it will only be as good as the 'celebs' that have to go through this and whether there are any decent presenters this year?

I have no problems with non-believers - I too do not believe those schedules but posted them to show how it could work (times of the matches aside) - however what irked me about his comment was the fact that he had the audacity to say I made the schedules up, using succinct wording. He performed in a manner to which you would be proud, Gavin.

Denise Van Outen will be the presenter of CLI 2006.

Whether or not you personally made them up is inconsequential. They appeared on this forum, against your username without explanation or accreditation from anyone/where else.

In the lack of any other explanation it was a fair assumption to make that you made them up. And if you aren't prepared to take responsibility for what you post, then perhaps don't bother.

I don't accept that. I know that most of the members of this forum have enough intelligence to work out for themselves that they should be taken lightly. Whether I made them or not is irrelevant. I felt no need to quote a source, as DS is not really even a source. Besides, I was in a rush.

Digital Spy? I agree with you, you have to take anything posted there with a pinch of salt. And you wonder why I left that forum! One of reasons was the amount of false spoilers people posted in the soap section.

Yes Jez I know, notice in your quote I say those exact words: "pinch", "of", and "salt".

Which is why I edited my post one minute later to say I agree with you, because I knew you would say that.

I agree with what others have said, schedules dont get confirmed until a few weeks before broadcast, and even then they are subject to change when especially when there is live sport

Maybe you should have said that in the first place. How were people to know you hadnt made them up yourself if you didnt give a source?

Exactly. This whole debacle came about because Andrew thought I was stupid enough to think people would consider them genuine schedules, and because he thought I'd made them up.

Perhaps I should have said it in the first place but I was in a rush and I did think people would be intelligent enough to realise I'd found it somewhere else or that it was an idea or something - not that I was trying to pretend I had official ITV1 schedules months in advance Rolling Eyes

There are no schedules that far in advance but if there was, and the BB/CLI clash was a problem..... then one of the channels would change the timings!
