Its no surprise that BB is back but im quite surprised ITV are showing CLI again as it didnt do that well in the ratings. If they think they are going to get the same sucess as Big Brother they are mistaken.

I'm by no means a CLI advocate but it did ok in some respect. It didn't have the usual mass ITV audience appeal (made up predominantly of old granny Hearbeat and Robson Green lovers) but it did well in the 16-34 year old age group in which it was aimed and put a dent in Big Brother.

It's about appealing to the right audience, and the younger demographic, which perhaps more importantly for them the advertisers seem to like.

Not half as many people were talking about CLI as Big Brother, and the press seemed more interested in BB.

It's not all about beating Big Brother though. Some young people watching CLI is preffered than some old people watching a repeat of Midsomer Murders

CLI only runs for a few weeks anyway doesn't it? Big Brother runs for a few months!

I watched most of CLI last year and it was only for 5 weeks which was enough, apparently it is back for longer this year.

BB is on for 13 weeks so will run until the end of August.

Yeah, CLI's run is apparently being doubled to 10 weeks. ITV really are trying to beat BB, with the World Cup as well as Celebrity Pop Idol, and shoving Coronation Street wherever there is a gap in the schedule.

Where did you get those schedules from?

Honestly, did they really have to shove the News at 10.30 to 11 o'clock just for CLI. Ridiculous! (sorry Mad )

Celebrity Chav Island is the biggest load of reality poo it really is. Mad The amount of money these people are getting just to lounge around on a beach makes my blood boil!

ITV are really pathetic!

As a fan of Big Brother since the first series I've got to say I think enough is enough now. I hardly watched the recent celebrity one even though it was supposed to be the best celeb edition. There are far too many reality shows now it's boring. They should have stopped(or at least took a break) after Big Brother 5. But I guess if people are still watching them and talking about them they will be made.
By the way I thought Celeb Love Island was better than Big Brother last year, especially with Paul Danan's antics. He made that show.

He's just made them up.

For a start, the World Cup games kick off at 8pm, so the programme wouldn't start at 8pm! Rolling Eyes

You're wrong as usual. Just posting what I found, as with any advance schedules they should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I would say what I really think of you Andrew, but the swear filter will probably star it out and I'll probably get banned.

Ok, so you've just posted what someone over on Digital Spy has made up and without saying where you got it from, which is worse.

There are no advance schedules 5 months in advance. If there were the tabliods would publish their Christmas TV guides 5 months in September
