I hope they dont do anything between now and BB5 - they need to give the show a rest - infact I think they should delay BB5 until 2005

Not that there's much chance of that happening. Channel 4 just love the 'almost guaranteed' large amount of money coming their way each year. I bet Davina gives out info about how to apply for BB5. She does every year right? Or is it a few months time when channel 4 have trailers about applying? Can't remember?

Anyway, Before BB5 comes, Is these likely to be a Big Bro spin off series first? Well as Celeb Big Bro has gone, Is anything replacing it or has channel 4 not made its mind up? I know there's talk of that one where all the winners from other series come back but thats just still 'Talk' right?

Well, assuming Celeb Big Brother was planned for November, I don't think anything will happen as Davina will be working on Big Labour at that time. The only thing planned for certain is Big Brother: The Experiment involving 18 year olds for 4 Learning filmed in the Big Brother house. However, I think this is going to be more of a case of seeing how a group of youngsters interact rather than a big reality TV show.

Re: Big Brother 5
It will go ahead next year - giving it a year off just paves the way for ITV/BBC to launch a rival, or even C4 might find something new. However, I think it'll be radically revamped - probably with the Head of House system. I'm certain Davina will be back as it'll be an easy way for her to get back on the box after her maternity leave.

Can't see Dermot doing Little Brother for long though - although I'm certain he'd do the main show if asked. However, he's started getting into production now so could move behind the cameras.

Re: applications. It's normally around Christmas they start asking for them.

Southern Comfort - series 1
Dubble - Celeb BB1
BT Cellnet (Horse & Fly) - series 2*
O2 - series 3
BT Broadband - Celeb BB2
O2 twins - series 4

* Has to be Horse & Fly for me.

As no one can vote for John he shouldn't really be evicted as such. Perhaps they will leave him in there for observation FOR AN EXTRA DAY!
Imagine how he would react being in the house solo not knowing when he would be allowed out!

Although I can't stand tedious Tickle, it would be funny if he wasn't let out on Friday... then when the doors open for BB5, the new HMs find him sitting in the diary room.

So as the series draws to a close - whats been your highlights of BB4?

The final task for Big Brother 4 has been announced today. Labelled an Opinions Task, it involves the housemates to discuss topics of moral, political and even religious topics for at least 10 mins in the diary room. The housemates will be called into the diary room any time between now and Wednesday to discuss the topics chosen by BB, but they are not allowed to discuss them outside the diary room. On Wednesday, they will be tested on eachother's opinions. If they pass the task, they will receive a treat from BB, a party. The choices for the themes of the party were Bollywood, Christmas and Monster Mash and although Steph really wanted the Bollywood theme, Cameron outshone her and they opted for the Christmas party. Scott was in agreeance, however he did say that he would like a photocopier for the purposes of photocopying parts of the body that are usually copied at Christmas parties.... (We shall say no more... )

As for the best bit, well I think it was the Tickle and Hotel California bit...

BIG BROTHER IS MOVING HOUSE - AGAIN

After the problems regarding noise and disruption to local residents, Big Brother is moving again, reports Digital Spy.

Land was purchased this year in Epsom, Surrey, in a much more secluded location.

Having been given an anonymous tip-off, DS:BB can bring you some excusive Big Brother gossip.

Following problems with noise and disruption to local residents there has been speculation that Channel 4 and Endermol have had to seek a new venue for future Big Brother series to be located.

The information we have been given is that this new site is going to be based in Epsom, Surrey on land purchased in April of this year.

This is a more secluded non-residential area so could mean that the nocturnal activities of future housemates will not be as restricted as they've been for Big Brother 4.

The layout of the new house is meant to resemble that of Big Brother's 1 and 2 with a similar walkway and gate.

My opinion - they need to move. They've had too many problems in Elstree and hardly been helped out by locals. I guess there are sufficient studio facilities near by, and as with all Big Brother houses - Tescos will be next door.

See BBLB's preview of the final tonight. The main gates to the house appear to have been removed and the "eye" stage has been placed right at the foot of the stairs. They still don't seem to know what's happening, with them saying that 1 or 2 housemates will leave in the 8.30pm show and hence 3 or 2 will leave in the second show, and they also have to "get rid of Jon at some point".

To be honest the layout of the first house was slightly better because I've never really seen the point of the stairs they Walk Up, then back down!

I always thought that walk across the water in the first 2 series was a good little feature to have because the house was further away from the crowd.

I just can't stand the current sponsors of BB4. There's not much point to them - they don't speak, they're not funny or clever in any way, and they're plain ugly. I know the whole point is to communicate through their O2 phones, but surely they could have thought of a more catchy advert for their product?

I like the title of this thread. STICKY POLL. Reminds me of school.

What is the name of the TUNE that plays during the O2 Sponsor?
