I think E4 should think whether they should have live coverage on a Friday Night when the eviction programme is going out. As soon as Jon went into the House on the CH4 coverage and the programme finished.. I turned over to E4 for their alledged "live" coverage and 15 minutes later, Jon comes in.

We all know that it's delayed by about 15 minutes top but I bet there was a lot of confused ordinary people watching the show thinking what's that Live DOG doing up the top of the screen when the programme isn't live at all.

But isn't the Ch4 live eviction show also delayed by 15 mins?

Good question! That's what I thought as well. But on that particular Friday, when the CH4 coverage had finished. E4 had enough time to spend about 5-10 mins without Jon in the house then an advert break then a few mins without Jon before he popped in.

CH4 coverage must be delayed because they carefuly get rid of any potential swearing in this alledged "live" coverage. Smile

The 8.30pm programme has a slight delay, but the 10pm programme is 100% live.

Next weeks final is in two hour long slots at 8.30pm and 10pm (but I expect the slots may be extended - they were last year!)

And the surprise nominees are CAMERON and NUSH.

The bookies were certain Steph would leave this Friday, and I believed that Ray, Scott and Nush would all vote for Cameron and Steph to leave. Be interesting to see who nominated who this week - I can't quite work it out!

Anyway - it's 09011 21 44 02 - or text VOTE CAMERON to 85444

PS: If Jon can stay for the final week, I think Big Brother should send in all the evicted housemates for the final week. Oh! what the heck - send in all 100,000 applicants and scrap the public vote. The final four then have to guess how many people you can fit in the Big Brother house - whoever is closest - wins!

I bet Steph is relieved after last night show with her in tears because everybody favoured Nush over Steph.

Still should be interesting to see who goes out this week though.

Apparently Jade Goody was arrested, but no charges brought against her.

See here

But, back to BB4, and I'm so happy that Mush is up for eviction and quite likely to be out on Friday. Very Happy

Yes - I thought that at first, but what about the voting? The lines close then 5 mins later, the result, so how can it be 15 mins delayed?

I hope Mush goes on Fri, and well done Ray in picking Much and not Steph, Unlike Scott and Nush who picked her.

as for that Jady story - Has that Girl no commonsense?

Re: the eviction shows.

In 2000 and 2001 they were 100% live. At that point, Davina never asks them not to swear, and bad language was only a problem on a few occassions.

In 2002 the 8.30pm show was delayed by 15minutes. The show opened with higlights from Thursday, and at about 8.35pm the lines would close. The result was revealed on air about 8.52pm, but the Sunday show revealed it actually happened at 8.38pm.

And this year the first half of the show previews the eviction, with the lines closing at the beginning of part 2 at 8.40pm. We get the result at about 8.52pm, while the housemates get it at around 8.43pm.

A couple of possible reasons for the change. Mainly to edit out bad language - but I think this was more of a problem last year than in previous years. The second possibility is to give the evictees more time to prepare to leave, as the eviction show was brought forward to 10pm last year (it was 10.30pm in 2001, 11.05pm in 2000).

The nominees:
Cameron: Ray & Nush
Nush: Cameron & Steph
Ray: Cameron & Nush
Scott: Cameron & Steph
Steph: Scott & Nush

So Ray broke the clique - citing Steph feeling upset that the boys always choose Nush over her and claiming that's not the case.

However, it probably saved him a nomination from Steph, and it's possible he may have thought that Nush was the weak link in the alliance and might nominate him instead of Steph.

He has basically revealed to Scott who he has nominated and appears to feel very bad about it. Could this nomination cost Ray the £70,000?

Well going by your campain to get Federico back in the other day, Cameron seems to have a very good chance of staying in this week.

Sorry - I meant to say 09011 21 44 07 - text VOTE NUSH to 85444

Nush is the clear favourite to go, but on BBLB they said it was pretty much 50/50, and I think she'll be the more entertaining housemate for the final week.

I thought most of the nominations reasons were very poor tonight. I understood why Ray didn't nominate Nush, but I think he knows he was foolish to break the alliance and has possibley concluded that he might have put Nush up to the public vote. However, he could also see her as a threat to the 70k prize and want her out of the way!

Ray does seem to be going a bit mad these last few weeks. He started off being a bit of a rebbel and rule breaker, but now he goes over the top with everything. It's a GAME, Ray!

Although not possible, I'd like to have seen Jon win, but I think Cameron or Steph should win the star prize.

Ray's going mad over what Jon has and more importantly, hasn't said.
