What's Happened to Big Brother's respect for fans?

no matter what peoples personal opinions about jon - it will make good TV (as far as bb can be called good tv - not a big fan) and if he keeps to the secrecy it will make everyone paranoid.

Please tell me that the 10pm+ shows are going to be repeated either today or on Sunday. I ended up falling to sleep and missing everything! I couldn't believe it... Evil or Very Mad

Another comment on the situation. What sort of coverage will Jon get on the programme. He is not in the game, so in theory, should get minimal coverage and be treated as an extra. Also, he should not be permitted to provide a commentary on events or try to influence how viewers vote.

I'll share with you something I posted last night on Digital Spy:

Finally, Brekkie Boy sums up the ex-housemate gimmick pretty well: "In other circumstances I'd appreciate the twist, but tonight's result was obvious and the twist was only added to increase media interest. It would have been better if either the remaining housemates voted them in (or choose between the top two) or it had been done in some sort of task. That way, the public aren't conned to vote back a housemate they voted in. And we know Jon is all mouth and no action. Tonights further twist has revealed the flaw in BB4: it needs a strong basic format which is a twist on the BB idea, not lots of twists throughout the series - and the UK producers need to come up with something original - not nicked from other worldwide BB's." Spot on - one swallow doesn't make a summer, and Jon Tickle going back in does not stop BB4 from being a highly disappointing show.

NB - We've got the percentages for the ex-housemate vote; Jon 62%, Lisa 12%, Gos 10%, Fed 9%, Justine 4%, and Sissy 3% of 862,000 votes.

I don't know why you are all being so hard on Jon. He is one of the strongest personalities in the house this year. The producers had to do something; with Lisa gone the housemates would just be sitting around and sleeping all day.

Given the selection of ex-housemates, Jon was the best choice. Federico, although a very funny bloke, is too unstable. Justine “The Slut” Sellman, and that rancid ginger thing should never have got on in the first place. Gos although he comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke, doesn’t let his character come across strongly enough.

Whilst I think that having ex-housemates returning to the house is gimmicky, I think that Jon will be able to pull it off. He's far smarter than anyone who is remaining there. Although it would have been so funny to see Lisa returning just after she'd been evicted, even though I was no fan of hers.

I would rather Lisa went back in to stir it up more, Davina did say she was second in the voting though.

A nice twist for next week's voting could be the housemates don't nominate on Monday, but instead everyone is put up for the Vote. On Friday the two housemates with the highest votes are up, and the housemates in the house go an nominate the person from these two that they want to Leave. So effectively they get to say who goes.

The outcome of tonight's challenge was really funny! The looks on Ray and Cameron's faces were classic!

lol, that has to have been one of the best moments of this BB. Even if they don't bother to spend all night in that reward room, the reaction of Ray and Cameron was priceless. Laughing Laughing

So glad that Mush didn't get picked! Was sort of hoping that Ray would pick Jon though.

Will be more predictable tomorrow when the second bingo game is played - will be one boy, one girl.

The tabloid journalist who decided to go and stand in Tesco's car park with a megaphone to inform Nush she's been dumped because of Scott should be ashamed of themselves.

Big Brother should take action against the involved journalist and ban them from officially covering the rest of the series.

Yeah, that was a bit low, even though I am no fan of Mush. Bet it was one of those 3am-style showbiz hacks.

But, she's hardly looking cut up about it, is she? Then again, she seemed to have an odd relationship with her now ex-boyfriend, so perhaps that shouldn't be surprising.

I fear though, that she may start milking it when it suits her (probably if she is up for eviction next week) to try and get the sympathy vote, and she will become even more unbearable than she already is.
