LOL @ that piece of set falling down and nearly landing on Davina & Jon - she should get Health & Safety onto that.

Dosent the way he has acted in the first few minutes suggest that he has been told how to act and behave. He is a stooge- a plant. I bet he has things scripted to do. I know it was a live vote but it was obvious that there was a good chance that he would get voited back in. I see a tv career ahead of him (wonder if ian lee of rise is thinking of leaving

Agree with Graham Norton. We voted them out - we don't want to see them again!
I think a new senior production team is needed for next year. This year all we've had are rehashed ideas from around the world, put in at times when they want the press attention. Only the Reward Room was an original idea.
As much as I hate Jon, he has got his fanbase though - and well done Lisa. Just a shame Big Brother producers are now bowing to pressure from the media.
Think they should have left his exit till tomorrow though, so he'd enter in silence with no crowd.

One of the strip lights forming the walkway behind the big screen in the studio to the studio exit fell down behind them as they walked down it - Davina noticed it but I think Jon was oblivious!

So much for back to basics, this series has been more gimmicky than ever. Nominations on the first night, South Africa trip, new housemate, double eviction, housemate coming back in, housemates being let out during the evacuation. Jon being back in is a big turn off for me, maybe this is a series too far.

Didn't notice that. Maybe it was a last desperate attempt by a normal person to stop Jon getting in the house.
Jon must be a relative of the Demon Headmaster. How else has he convinced so many people he's "a legend". DO NOT LOOK IN HIS EYES!

Well said. It's not a series too far - just a very weak format. The producers have tried to keep the original format and have a "surprise twist" every week or so. It doesn't work, and the people losing out are the viewers.
However, I think they will now be forced to get their act together and completely rework the format for series 5. When I first heard about the US twist "The X Factor" I though it sounded terrible - but the show has a main basis to the format which will create drama throughout the series.
Talking of the US show, having watched clips of the series on the net I think the UK editing is so much better. The US show is just like all other US fly-on-the-wall programmes, with the action intercut with contestants talking about what happened.

I've registered my displeasure at the situation with the official site:
What's Happened to Big Brother's respect for fans?
I'll admit a couple of things though - the reaction of the housemates was classic - but that would have happened with any housemate.
And I wouldn't be so infuriated if it was anyone else but Jon Tickle.
And finally, I was incredible disapointed the housemates didn't tell him to get lost and throw a few punches.
