Cool, the announcer leading into this Smack the Pony tonight was great!

"We want you to see the eviction, so it's at 10 tonight. But first, something you weren't expecting. Smack the pony......christmas special.....mleh, why not?"

Surely Big Brother should know?

Big Brother will get back to you.

Nah. All I'm getting is Access Denied errors or something,

I was having those problems through most of the day. The best advice is to clear your Internet history/files/cookies/passwords etc (completely), log-off then log on again and go immediately to the Big Brother website. That's the only way it's working for me.

Re: Tescos. It's only across the road, but the housemates order their shopping on Wednesday and get it on Sunday. The BBLB shopping competition is sponsored by tesco.com

I think the show was very good tonight. Davina broadcasting from the actual location was excellent.

In fact the Tescos was built on part of the Elstree studios site. It was quite controversial at the time IIRC

I felt quite sorry for Gos with no crowd but I did enjoy the interview he came across as a really nice bloke.

How weird was the eviction without the crowd (surely the local council could have seen sence and granted them a temporary licence to cover the event). The good thing about it was we could here the eviction countdown music which was very nice IMO.

Also, wasn't Gos more entertaining in that half-hour than during his time in the Big Brother house. I think he could cut it as a TV chef on a show such as This Morning - might be the surprise success of the series.

The task begins on BBLB tomorrow at 1.20pm and continues on E4 at 2.30pm.

I think tonights eviction show was the best of the series. Just goes to show how useless and annoying the crowd are.

A message on the BB forums regarding the website problems:

Quote:
Firstly, apologies to anyone who is experiencing problems with the website.

The problems have now been resolved. However, if you are still unable to access the site this may be due to individual ISPs not recognising the update. This should resolve itself within the next couple of hours.

Again, apologies for the inconvenience caused.

[Was that a Wolves game? I remember watching that.

close, it was an England Under-21 game which was being played at Molineux. the package was found before the kick off (which was 7:45 IIRC), and meant the game didn't kick off until 10pm. might have been played in an empty stadium as well.

and in both cases, i'd imagine the organisers (The FA and C4/Endemol) will be pleased that the security services are doing their job properly. i'd imagine all the security people involved must be really p*ssed off at all this rubbish talk about conspiracies and publicty stunts.

I guess last night was a mixture of relief and absolute frustration. Relief it was nothing serious, and frustration that it was nothing serious.

Or in Ray's case - frustration followed by relief.

Last night's eviction was great. It was very surreal, but still great. I agree with whoever said the crowds can just be uselesss, although I think you have to admit they do add to the classic Big Brother atmosphere.

Ray has won this weeks task. He will be house leader for the week. What Ray doesn't know is that he has to nominate three house mates to be up for eviction.
