C4 have just put a message up saying due to a "security alert" tonight's Big Brother eviction shows have been postponed. Not sure if that means until 10pm or until another day.

Same thing was said a Leyton Station on The Central Line although that was due to 'Police Investigations' There wasn't even a member of staff on any of the platforms.

Anyway back on Topic:

I think my comments about the above could be true re: Steph & Lisa

The great thing is, that they'll never be able to cover it up, if it is a cover up. The housemates will talk about it, someone will have a bruise, and best of all the evicted housemate will spill their guts to the papers.
Sounds like fun!

Wow this is exciting!! almost as exciting as when Channel 4 went down ages ago and we had those dodgy idents and the Daytime breakbumper all night. Now that was exciting, or was it just me who in a weird way loved that?

So when will the eviction's happen? Are all the phone lines closed? Have channel 4 said the voting lines are closed?

I imagine that if the "suspicious package" is "suspicious" the area is now a crime scene.

C4 have pulled tonight's live streaming according to Teletext. "23.50 TBA"

I'd be surprised if Channel 4 will cover anything up. It would make great viewing figures and increase the amount of column inches. Channel 4 itself has not yet mentioned a bomb alert on air remember.

Let me guess - the TBA will be back to back repeats of friends!

Is the ep of friends on s4c the same as the one shown on 4?

Is this a desperate bid by BB to regain viewers?

They've refered to it as a "security alert" as all news channels would in a similar situation.

C4 and the police have released official statements regarding the incident, so I'd just disreguard the other rumours.

Put's alot of the comments made on the series into perspective.

Good point, they may try to downplay it for a day or two to hype things up.

Latest "Due to a security alert tonights eviction shows have been postponed!" With the only change to the schedule being Friends at 10.
