Why are the using a different house for BB4 - I thought the one they used last year, they intended using that for a good few series.

What there not useing the old house!!? i need hear though at the end of BB3 Elstree was getting complants from people liveing in the area that there was to much nosie coming from the house.

Well from the pics it looks different to the BB3 house? Unless they have just redecorated it.

Yes they did receive complaints during BB3

It's the same house - just redecorated and slightly revamped. Remember it's nothing more than a shell which can be changed internally.

You can tell that the pool is exactly the same, while the bedroom shown is Bedroom 2 from last year.

Does anyone know how to get Friday Night Eviction Tickets?

Is Graham Norton returning this year to slag off contestants after the show?

I'm looking forward to seeing whether or not the show is in 16:9 this year as I find it beyond belief that C4's flagship programme is still going out in conventional 4:3 when all their other output is mainly wide. I thought that with the new house last year, updated equipment would have allowed for the switch, but it didn't happen. Perhaps they didn't have time to address that issue last year with building a new house, but they've had ample opportunity and money to do it this year surely!

You're forgetting that most of the cameras inside the house are merely CCTV-type ones, which aren't capable of braodcasting in widescreen.

No, I disagree. Only a handful of the cameras in the BIG Brother House are of the CCTV variety. Don't
forget, they have full sized studio cameras in the so called "camera run", positioned behind the 2-way
mirrors. These cameras will be more than capable of recording and transmitting pictures in 16:9, and
so too are the cameras in the main BIG Brother studio. Overall, they'll have more proper TV cameras
than the smaller CCTV cameras, so I see little excuse for BB4 to be transmitted only in 4:3 format.

I did think the show would switch last year, but it didn't. As I'm a Celebrity and more crucially Fame Academy (made by the same company in a house) were in widescreen, I don't really see why Big Brother can follow suit. I know they use CCTV-type cameras, but thinking about it, I bet more are produced nowadays for reality TV than for actual CCTV.

Big Brother Australia this year has taken the step of hiding all the cameras so housemates can not play up to them,

Just thought I'd post a capture of the Big Brother break bumper I managed to catch earlier this evening on Channel 4 [seeing as others missed it] ~

With it still being three weeks away, it's a bit early to start them isn't it? Usually they start them on the week leading up to the Friday or whatever..
