The crowds would have had to have been evacuated off the site as well - it must have been a huge operation - I wonder how they coped? I'm not sure the blindfolds would have been a top priority - in that kind of situation the biggest aim would be to get everyone out.

If the cameramen were evacuated then it probably means there isn't going to be any footage. Hopefully there is along with the anno that big brother has to evacuate. Although the whole thing is a bad thing, I'm really excited about it all!
Don't forget the remote-controlled cameras. Obviously, there's nobody to control them, but they'll still be running.
This is indeed very exciting. I can't remember this level of pandemonium since they turned off the live feed in BB1, due to the discovery of Nick's cheating.

Ceefax reports the package was found at the George Lucas studio (BBHQ) and crowds/crew have been evacuated but the housemates are still in the house.
So if the crew have been evicted, so will have Big Brother.
Reports that the suspect package was Tania's make-up bag are so-far unconfirmed!

Also, re: taping the show.
If you've PDC'd the 8.30pm show and the 10pm show in theory the 8.30pm show will record at 10pm and the 10pm show at 11.15pm, but I imagine it'll get confused. Best tape from 10pm till after midnight in case of further delays.
C4 are saying the incident has been dealt with, which I take to mean the package has been removed.
