Big Brother: Cameron wins

Hence the three girls have three votes each, Gos & Ray have 2 each and Scott is the weeks most popular housemate with 1 nomination. Cameron can not be nominated this week or next.


I'm really disapointed this week at how Federico is constantly treated as a second class guest to Jon on BBLB. Jon has been given numerous features on the show while Fed is just left to sit in the background.

Also, re: Davina questioning Federico about the size of a certain part of his body last Friday. Teletext reports their have been over 60 complaints from viewers. Personally, I think they should be rejected unless one of those complaints is from Federico himself.

The question was not offensive in anyway to the viewers and was discussing a point which had been raised throughout the series by the housemates. Federico chose not to answer it by deflecting it with comments of ignorance, and Davina then moved on (bet she's looked through the tapes to find out though!).

OMG - the South African house is awful. Awful furniture and decor, and the bedrooms look like Cell Block H !!!

What was the actual programme like. Is it in a same style to the BBUK one - titles etc.

Any chance of uploading the titles? I've made a request in the request forum for this.

Similar- The captions are done in Eurostyle font, the music is more of a 'normal' tune that a dance track and opening titles are very similar to the first BBuk.

The action bumpers are just like the UK's.
They only have 4 manual cameras and the rest are remote operated pan and tilts - the radio mic pick-ups in the house are terrible (with the sound levels dipping whilst Cameron was standing still in the bedroom), and the diary room doesn't look soundproofed very well.

Just in case you're not sure who should go...

From never never land we have Nush. Nush is a vegetarian who likes to eat meat. She is placid, docile and very calm. Her hobbies are sucking her thumb (especially when attached to Cameron's thumb), jumping on the boy's beds and giving really flaky reasons for nominations.

Our second nominee is a long lost relation of Jeanette Krankie without the accent. Yes it's our very own Steph. At 5ft whatever, Steph likes to cut her own hair, talk with a strange accent and talk about her fellow housemates behind their backs.

Our final nominee this week is the talentless blusher herself.... Tania. Due to be crowned Queen of the Vile, Tania has made a point to be nominated because of her bad attitude towards losing tasks and not getting into the reward room.

My money is most definitely on the final contestant... but the decision will ultimately lie with the voting public.

Just looked at the African website and they are providing 24hour live coverage on TV of BBUK alongside the African version. Surely E4 could do the same on one of their interactive feeds.

Also, re: E4 live coverage. It now has a 15minute delay for editing. I looked through some old tapes and found a documentary "Inside Big Brother" which was shown the day after the final of BB1. Then they only had the webcast live, but they claimed then the delay was just 30seconds.

Surely the dealy could be cut to around 5minutes. That would give directors etc plenty of time to make the edits.

Have to say, I'm really enjoying the African BB a lot more than our own - a helluva lot more entertaining!

Oh, and the housemates passed their task yesterday.

Good job too, if they failed, they've have had about £3 shopping budget to live on all week!!! Actually, that might have been even better, seeing the group cope on basic rations, a bit like the Poor Side last year!

And today is Gae's last day in the house, so it looks like Cameron will be back either later today or tomorrow...

Channel 4 have not yet confirmed when Cameron will be back, but as he is exempt from nominations for 2 weeks, he may not be back as soon as you think...

I'm not sure if this is true, I've just found this on another forum...

It's rumoured that the UK BB bosses are planning another swap, this time with Australia.

Like I said, it's just a rumour.

Teletext says E4 will be showing BB US 'as live' (with a 16 hour delay) next month.
