Just a rumour I've heard, so I'm not sure how reliable it is -
Apparently Nick Bateman has been asked to go into the Big Brother house... the twist is that he will not have to abide by the same rules as the housemates.
Apparently, Nick will be the Big Brother 'enforcer', and the reward room will be adapted to his bedroom.
Nick officially will be in the house to enforce the rules, but it is hoped that his presence in the house will cause confrontation - Nick will have many more priveleges in the house than are afforded to the housemates, such as the better bedroom, more food etc.
As I say, it's just a rumour, but I think it not only sounds plausible, but sounds a great idea.
The ratings are beginning to pick up now - they broke the 5m barrier for the first time this series (since launch night). I think the double eviction will also raise the number of votes pass the million barrier as after the first eviction is announced, you may get alot of fans recasting their vote for someone else.
Did anyone watch BBLB last night? Apparently Sissy feels that this year's series is fixed, I would have cause to believe her.
The Nick Bateman rumour - I seriously doubt that would occur, but with Big Brother this year, who knows?
And this week I'd like to see Jon and Fed out - although Jon is growing on me and I can look beyond him being annoying and see his sense of humour, I can imagine this week might see his downfall.
She's a very bitter woman when it comes to rejection (failing to get into the reward room - being nominated - being evicted - finding out Tania nominated her - all examples of how bad a loser she is).
What she said is that she felt the 30min show didn't show her best moments.
My opinion is that every housemate (and viewers) knows that Big Brother will edit the footage to get the best C4 show possible - occassionally leaving out bits that housemates might like to see included, and more often, including bits housemates would rather we didn't see. With 24hour coverage on E4 and the net, plus the media picking up on every story, it's a pathetic excuse.
Also, re: the Media. There is no doubt the tabloids have helped in hyping the show, but I think they are beginning to ruin it. The control of the show needed to get back into the hands of the producers, not the media. It's the media that have the cheek to urge us to keep boring Jon in the house, then complain a couple of weeks later the show is boring.
My opinion is the show is working quite well. Better than last years and very similar in style to BB1. However, I do think a massive shake up is required to get some tension in the house over the next couple of weeks. The double eviction is a start (although I fear it may backfire) - but it needs to be the beginning of a twist - not the twist.
Also, VOTE OUT JON. Put your effort into voting out Jon, and then if he is evicted first, VOTE OUT CREEPY CAMERON (before he kills someone!).

We shall wait and see.
I'd heard it was Kate from last year going back in..... C4 accidentally cut up a still of her briefly during the house coverage.
Yeah but the still they put up also had Kate's last year eviction phone number and graphics on. I think they managed to somehow put up a BB3 graphic by mistake.

Probably just to get the speculation going.
I think it'd be nice if they deliberately engineered certain things to happen, so that the show would be more funny than anything else. As it is, it's reliant upon the housemates to amuse the viewers, and that's just not happening.
They need to do certain things - like locking people in rooms at random, filling the pool with frogs and fish and just utterly random stuff to liven them up a bit.
They're all a bit too... normal. Well, in a sense.
Imagine how funny it would be to lock Tania in the diary room with a tarantula (I'd spell check that but can't be bothered). Obviously it would be de-fanged, and so on. But it'd be great!
Apparently Cameron wants to smash Jon's face into the back of his head...hmm, such a nice, sweet christian lad indeed!
Interestingly, this point keeps being edited out of the main official Channel 4 forum and into Cameron's Channel 4 forum, where hardly anyone will see it...

Hmmm.... some of the lads this year seem a bit weird, Ray is an animal, and Cameron is just plain weird.
Does anybody care to speculate who the BB bosses would like to get evicted?
I reckon, Fed and Cameron, but only because John seems the most sincere.
This probably warrants it's own thread, but just what is the point of Text Voting (not just on Big Brother). It's much quicker to phone the number and as texting is done on the phone it's not really giving fans another way to vote. The only positive is that you only have to remember one number.
