Big Brother - axed

Hopefully it's just been for tonight, but it has happened occassionally in the past, though usually on "special" live shows hosted by Davina, where they just crash to the ads rather than throwing to Davina to link to the break.

And if so, it must be killing them that they can't do that until Monday because of the non-housemates bedroom stuff. I'm not following it too closely, to be honest.

Its odd to see the TV Forum Big Brother thread all the way down page 2 of the forun when there is currently a series running. I've only been 'watching' the 'live' shows this year and here is a highlight from Friday night. Some audio issues at the beginning of the show mean that we can hear the audience and music but not Davina McColl. It takes quite a while for them to fix the problem too.

I guess this was repeated several times today. Did anyone catch any of the repeats? Did they fix the sound problem or edit the show so it started from when the sound came back? If they didn't fix it, did they leave the apology in or did the on duty continuity announcer do a live apology?

I saw a repeat yesterday and the sound was fine on that, you could here Davina both before and after the titles.

Just out of interest, do you think the housemates will be informed of Michael Jackson's death?

I thought that at first, but during this years Celebrity Big Brother the housemates were told about the presidential election. And I would have thought that both events involve the rule about having no contact with the outside world.

They've also been allowed to watch England in the World Cup in the past aswell.

It's nonsense rules.
